Sir Trevor Brooking will be "cutting the ribbon" on the new PRESTIGE XT 3^rd generation, rubber filled synthetic turf facility installed by DOE for the Fulbourn Colts FC.    

The official opening will take place on 19 October and everyone was delighted when Sir Trevor confirmed the arrangements last week particularly in view of his continually hectic schedule. 

This installation in Cambridge, one of several PRESTIGE XT football facilities completed by DOE this year, is a joint venture between Fulbourn Parish Council on behalf of the community and the Fulbourn Institute Colts Football Club Partnership. 

Since the new facility was taken into play a fortnight ago it has been an outstanding success. 

Mr Mick Warwick, on behalf of the Colts FC, confirmed how delighted the players have been with the exceptional comfort and playing characteristics of their new field.   

PRESTIGE XT fields can now been seen and play tested from Scotland down to East Anglia and the Home Counties with further installations under construction.
